Посольство США предупредило о риске эскалации в Саудовской Аравии

Посольство США в Саудовской Аравии после атак на аэропорт в Эр-Рияде предупредило о риске эскалации боевых действий на территории королевства со стороны йеменского мятежного движения «Ансар Аллах» (хуситы).

«Хуситы ведут боевые действия против Саудовской Аравии, в том числе атакуя гражданские аэропорты, военный конфликт может обостриться», - говорится в заявлении посольства.

Посольство также рекомендовало гражданам США не посещать пограничные с Йеменом территории королевства и проявлять повышенную бдительность.

Ранее власти Саудовской Аравии сообщили о нападении на международный аэропорт имени короля Халида в Эр-Рияде. По данным местных органов, по меньшей мере три подданных королевства погибли, еще несколько человек получили ранения.

U.S. government employees working in Saudi Arabia now require special authorization to use the King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. U.S. government employees working in Saudi Arabia are not allowed to travel within 20 miles of the Yemen border due to safety risks and need special authorization for travel to the provinces of Jizan, Asir, Najran, and the cities of Qatif, Yanbu, and Taif.
